Seal of Good Environmental Governance

Upgraded to Silver Seal

The Philippines Biodiversity Conservation Foundation Inc. (PBCFI) received the Silver Seal of Good Environmental Governance from the Province of Negros Occidental during the 22nd Provincial Environment Week culmination program last 26 June 2015 in L’Fisher Hotel, Bacolod City. PBCFI was recognized by the Provincial Government for its exemplary contribution to biodiversity conservation in the province. In year 2014, PBCFI received the Bronze Seal of Good Environmental Governance.

PBCFI Executive Director Lisa J. Paguntalan received the award together with  Philip Godfrey Jakosalem – Head of In-situ Conservation Programme and Field  Projects Coordinator Kim John Doble from Governor Alfredo Marañon, Vice- Governor Eugeño Lacson and Provincial Environment Management Officer Atty.  Wilfredo Ramon Peñalosa.
