Our Vision is the long-term conservation of the Philippines’ native and endemic wildlife and natural habitats for the benefit of future generations of all peoples who may inhabit and share the natural resources of the country.

Remembering William Oliver – 1947 to 2014

Two events will be simultaneously conducted in honor of William Oliver: launching of Status of Cebu’s Biodiversity – a book dedicated to William Oliver in Cebu City and the opening of the William Oliver collection/exhibit in UPLB Museum of Natural History in Los Baños, Laguna on 14 September 2015.

William Oliver was a staunch advocate of conservation of Cebu’s biodiversity. In line with this, the Philippines Biodiversity Conservation Foundation Inc. together with DENR-7 and Foundation for the Philippine Environment (FPE) will be launching the Status of Cebu’s Biodiversity book on 14 Sept 2015 @ 2pm in Cebu Grand Hotel. Production of the book was made possible through the support of Foundation for the Philippine Environment (FPE), Chester Zoo, Zoological Society for the Conservation of Species and Populations (ZGAP) and Department of Environment and Natural Resources – 7.
